Understanding Occupant Statuses
Rytche uses status indicators to help Property Managers understand the current state of an occupant's tenancy.
These indicators can appear in the Occupants Management Board.
Agreement status
The agreement indicator shows the current signing state of the tenancy agreement.
The available statuses include:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Not Signed | The agreement has not been signed. |
| PM Signed | The Property Manager has signed the agreement. |
| Fully Signed | The required signing process has been completed by both sides. |
| Pending Entry | The agreement status has not yet reached one of the defined signing states. |
Lease status
The lease tracker indicates the current state of the occupant's lease or tenancy period.
Common indicators include:
| Status | Meaning |
|---|---|
| New | The occupant or tenancy is newly admitted. |
| Active | The tenancy is currently active. |
| About to expire | The tenancy is approaching its expiry date. |
| Rent Expire | The relevant rent/tenancy period has expired. |
| Reminded | A reminder has been associated with the tenancy status. |
| Admitted | The occupant has been admitted to the unit. |
The exact status displayed depends on the current state of the occupant's tenancy and the information available to Rytche.
Receipt status
Receipt-related information can be accessed through the Receipt filter and the occupant's payment-related information.
Use the Receipt filter to narrow the Occupants Management Board to records matching the available receipt statuses.
Payment information
The Payment column provides access to the payment-related information or action available for an occupant.
Payment status should be reviewed together with the occupant's tenancy and receipt information when managing rent collection.
Why statuses matter
Statuses help Property Managers quickly identify occupants who may require attention.
For example, a Property Manager can use the Occupants Management Board to locate occupants whose:
- Agreement has not been completed.
- Lease is approaching expiry.
- Rent period has expired.
- Receipt information requires review.
Use the available filters to narrow the list before taking action.
